TERMS OF USE

Please Read These Terms Carefully

By accessing or using the Merit Appliance Repair website at www.meritappliancerepair.com, scheduling our services, or otherwise interacting with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services.

1.  Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Merit Appliance Repair, a Minnesota-based appliance repair and HVAC service company. These Terms govern your use of our website located at www.meritappliancerepair.com and any related services, features, or content we make available.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2.  Services We Provide

Merit Appliance Repair provides professional appliance repair and HVAC services to residential and commercial customers throughout the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area in Minnesota. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Residential appliance repair: refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, ice makers, and more
  • Commercial kitchen appliance repair and maintenance
  • HVAC installation, repair, and servicing
  • Online appointment scheduling and service consultations

All service offerings, pricing, service areas, and availability are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to decline service requests at our sole discretion.

3.  Use of Our Website

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon the rights of others or restrict their use of the website. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations
  • Transmit any harmful, offensive, or disruptive content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to collect data from our website
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organization
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the website or its infrastructure

4.  Appointments and Service Agreements

When you schedule a service appointment through our website or by phone, you are requesting a service visit subject to technician availability. Appointment confirmation does not constitute a guarantee of service completion, as the scope of repair may be determined upon the technician’s on-site assessment.

Warranty: All repair work and parts provided by Merit Appliance Repair carry a 90-day warranty from the date of service, unless otherwise stated in writing. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and parts installed by our technicians and does not cover damage caused by misuse, power surges, or issues unrelated to the original repair.

Pricing: We provide a firm quote before any repair work begins. Our technicians charge by the job, not by the hour, and no overtime charges will apply. Additional charges may apply if the scope of work changes based on on-site diagnosis.

5.  Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the designated payment method.

Online bookings that include promotions (such as the $10 discount for online scheduling) are subject to the terms of the applicable promotion. Promotions may not be combined and are subject to change or withdrawal at any time.

6.  Intellectual Property

All content on the Merit Appliance Repair website — including text, images, logos, graphics, service descriptions, and site design — is the proprietary property of Merit Appliance Repair or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any content on our website without our prior written consent. Unauthorized use of our content may give rise to a claim for damages and/or constitute a criminal offense.

7.  Disclaimer of Warranties

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

9.  Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Merit Appliance Repair and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of our website, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
